Mr. Shyam Bhartia, Chairman & Managing Director

Mr. Shyam S. Bhartia is the Chairman and Managing Director of Jubilant. Mr. Bhartia holds a bachelors’ degree in commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta University. He is a qualified cost and works accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He has 32 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, foods, oil and gas, aerospace and information technology sectors. He has served on the board of governors of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also been the Chairman of the Chemicals Committee of FICCI and is currently a member of the executive committee of FICCI. He has been a member of the Jubilant Board since June 21, 1978.
