Besides working on developing non-infringing processes for products
getting off the patent, this R&D center also has the capability to
undertake contract research for international pharmaceutical and
biotechnology companies to provide new compounds in sufficient
quantities for discovery research.
The business unit also has an R&D center at the manufacturing
location which focuses on process development and improvement. It has
current and updated databases for meeting the need for quick and
reliable information for desk research. The laboratories are integrated
electronically with several databases around the world and remain in
touch with the latest developments in global scientific community.
