Fine Chemicals
Jubilant offers about 165 fine chemical products developed through in-house R&D. These are mainly Pyridine and Piperidine based intermediates which find application in about 250 APIs and 50 Agrochemicals. Jubilant holds globally No.1 position in Amino Pyridines, Lutidines and Collidines and for most of the other products, it enjoys a leading position in the global market.

Over the years, we have developed good expertise in Grignard Reaction chemistry and are well familiarized with the safe use of toxic chemicals, managing autoclave at very high temperature and pressure for various product applications. For Fine Chemical products the company has been granted 28 process patents in various countries including India, Japan and PCT Union. Sixty products have already been commercialised and are being supplied to about 145 customers globally. These customers include Innovator and Generic Pharma and Agro companies, and other Fine and Speciality Chemical companies.

Exclusive Synthesis/ Custom Manufacturing (Intermediates & APIs)
The Exclusive Synthesis business leverages integrated R&D, Technology and Engineering capabilities which enable it to be the cost effective partner on a sustainable basis. The Company takes up manufacturing projects of developmental products in Clinical phase as well as of in-market products from a few Kilograms to several Metric ton quantities on a regular basis. The business handles projects having:

• Process received from the customer: Through process familiarization, contractual agreement, complete technology transfer, commercial manufacturing
• Process to be developed: Through route selection, sample preparation, sample approval, process optimization, contractual agreement, pilot trial, commercial manufacturing
