Since 2003, the company has been publishing its Sustainability Report based on the internationally developed Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) guidelines on its Triple Bottom Line (TBL) i.e. Economic, Environmental and Social performance, which is driven by strong Corporate Governance. The Sustainability Report is accredited as A+ by GRI G3 guidelines since 2007.

Jubilant has adopted the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for providing safety information regarding its products and committed to address REACH requirements and Responsible Care, the global chemical industry’s unique initiatives to improve its Health, Safety and Environmental performance.

The company is a signatory to Global Compact for Corporate Governance, Organizational Stakeholder member of GRI for Sustainability Reporting and member of many Industry Associations. The other voluntary initiatives include creating awareness among the larger community and organizing seminars on Climate Change Mitigation, Sustainability and related issues.

Jubilant’s social initiatives are in line with vision on inclusive growth as well as Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of United Nations. The initiatives include;

The social initiatives are carried out under the aegis of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF). JBF in collaboration with Schwab foundation has introduced ‘The India Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ to identify the visionary social entrepreneurs, who have demonstrated large-scale, systems-change models and are at the stage of scaling/replication their ideas across India and in other countries.
